Roland Freeman to deliver keynote address at
Delta Symposium XVI: Region and Politics of Culture at Arkansas State University on April 9, 2010.

Mr. Freeman will deliver a multi-media presentation titled The 1968 Mule Train: A Journey of Hope Remembered in the Mockingbird Room at the ASU Student Union at 5:15 PM. His speech is presented by the ASU Philosophy and English departments.

Quilt Show Week at the Hotel Metropolitan, Paducah, Kentucky.

Roland Freeman will make a presentation entitled Testimonies and Treasures: African and African American Quilts and Textiles, Photographs and Reminiscences. Mr. Freeman is an icon in preserving African-American folk-life, quilts, and quilting history.
